Job summary We are looking for an experienced Registered Dietitian with acute clinical experience in nutrition support to join our team of 30 clinical staff and an excellent support team providing the Dietetics Service to Wolverhampton and Cannock. This vacancy is in our intensive care and surgical team and the successful candidate will be based at New Cross Hospital. Our ICU & Surgical Dietitians are well recognised for their excellent clinical skills and track record in research, audit and service development. We pride ourselves on excellent staff development, and appropriate training will be provided. We value CPD and staff development to ensure ongoing excellence in practice and staff experience. We are a friendly, supportive and dynamic team and recognised for our excellence in clinical placement provision - providing placements for dietetics learners from UCB, BCU, SHU and Coventry universities. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will work with MDT colleagues in surgical and intensive care settings to deliver a high quality dietetics service for patients requiring dietetic intervention and nutrition support. You will also be responsible for undertaking ward rounds with the wider MDT and participating in project work.
