We are looking for experienced Cost Managers (all levels up to Project Director) with a minimum of 5 years’ NEC4 experience to support our growth plans. You will work with our key infrastructure water client in the East Midlands/Cambridgeshire/Peterborough areas, supporting the successful delivery of their capital projects and programmes of work. Ideally you will already have NEC4 PM accreditation or be willing to undertake the accreditation training. You will join an established team of experts focused on innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.
Responsibilities
* Deliver all aspects of cost management from inception of a project through to completion, including feasibility estimates, cost planning, contract procurement, tender documentation, value engineering, cost reporting, risk management, dispute resolution, and final accounts.
* Maintain the highest standards of professional competence in dealings with clients and professional contacts, reinforcing the company profile.
* Drive performance standards and technical excellence through effective communication and the performance management process.
* Develop and maintain good client relationships, upholding the firm as a provider of premium quality services.
* Support the internal team and manage more junior staff on technically complex projects.
* Develop marketing opportunities and, where appropriate, raise leads with Directors and the Business Development Department to support new business.

Qualifications
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cost Management/Quantity Surveying, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.
* NEC4 Project Management Accreditation or willingness to undertake the accreditation training/course on joining us.
* Experience in cost/commercial management as part of integrated, multi-organisation, collaborative teams.
* Experience of working within a client organisation, directly or via a colocated/secondment arrangement, would be beneficial.
* Ability to identify and influence key client stakeholders and build relationships to grow workload.
* Degree in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent).
* MRICS accreditation (or working towards membership).
