As a member of the commodities legal team, the successful candidate will work alongside a group of experienced and respected lawyers that offer comprehensive support to a diverse range of stakeholders.
The team’s primary focus is advisory and transactional support within the international commodities markets, but its members are also active in supporting other areas including loans and other financial products and services.
As a predominantly commodities focused role, the candidate should have previous experience working on physical commodities transactions although experience in other relevant fields will be considered.
The role offers an opportunity to develop transactional skills and in-house legal capabilities through exposure to an interesting and dynamic range of work.

* Review documentation and advise on a variety of non-commodity legal documentation and related legal issues as and when required.

* Work closely with the legal team, front office and other departments to deliver business objectives.
* Maintain an awareness of evolving legal developments and contribute to the development and implementation of team initiatives.
* Provide clear instructions to, and work effectively with, external legal counsel when the need arises.
