Service Introduction Manager
Location: Sheffield | Type: Full-Time | Function: IT Service Delivery
Royal Mail is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Service Introduction Manager to oversee the seamless transition of new or modified IT services into live operation. This is a key role within our Service Delivery function, interfacing with project teams across the full lifecycle to ensure services are stable, supportable, and fit for purpose.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple complex projects introducing new or changed IT services.
* Ensure service readiness through due diligence, risk mitigation, and stakeholder alignment.
* Maintain accurate records in ServiceNow, RAID logs, and PIRs.
* Lead service transition planning and handover to BAU operations.
* Coordinate change control and release scheduling with project and service teams.
* Report KPIs and contribute to IT governance and management insights.
What You’ll Bring
* Strong delivery experience in global IT environments.
* Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills.
* Ability to collaborate with technical teams and suppliers.
* Experience managing concurrent projects in a multi-supplier support organisation.
