Responsibilities
* Manage a team of warehouse operatives during night shifts, ensuring engagement, organisation and motivation.
* Oversee efficient unloading of lorries into the depot and accurate sortation of parcels to meet Key Performance Indicators.
* Ensure company Confirmed At Depot (CAD) % target is achieved.
* Meet depot throughput and tip time targets.
* Meet company target for saturations.
* Achieve depot “parcels per person hour” target.
* Deliver health and safety, productivity and cost objectives to provide outstanding customer service.
* Source and deploy additional staff on short notice in case of employee absence.
Qualifications
* Experience in a fast‑paced operation with proven people‑management skills and direct accountability for motivating and leading a high‑performing team.
* Strong communication skills and ability to inspire, motivate and manage a team.
* Decisive decision‑making, problem‑resolution, and time‑management skills.
* High resilience, self‑motivation and flexibility.
* Excellent computer skills and experience using Google Chrome applications.
* Ability to produce comprehensive reporting and analyse data.
* Vigilant against unscrupulous activity, taking swift and appropriate action.
