We're looking for a Field Sales Manager to lead sales efforts in the West Midlands, driving revenue growth and improving profitability for our Walsall depot and surrounding locations. This is a key role where you'll be the face of SLD Pumps & Power to both new and existing customers—building lasting relationships, delivering tailored solutions, and helping us grow.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Building strong, value-driven relationships with existing clients
2. Identifying and developing new business opportunities
3. Collaborating with depot teams and internal service centres
4. Continuously developing knowledge of our products and applications
5. Using our CRM and sales systems to stay ahead of customer needs
6. Ensuring profitability on all orders through smart commercial management
7. Promoting the SLD Pumps & Power brand and related services across the region
8. Reporting on activity, sales progress, and customer engagement
9. Supporting timely payment collection for services rendered
Requirements:
* Previous proven business development experience
* Experience in plant hire or construction (beneficial)
* Valid UK driving licence
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset
