Duties/Responsibilities:
* Set and implement standard operating procedures and service standards of the store.
* Manage pre-assigned staff for front and back of house to ensure brand standards are achieved.
* Manage, motivate, recruit, train, and develop staff according to company policies and employment laws.
* Manage card payment systems in accordance with company procedures, prioritizing staff and customer safety.
* Maintain the effectiveness of IT and other essential in-store systems, ensuring data security and confidentiality.
* Manage, maintain, and report daily stock of all food and beverage items; ensure food deliveries are correctly checked, stored, and entered into the system.
* Oversee health & safety, security, and emergency systems, ensuring staff and customer awareness in line with company policies and laws.
* Develop personal skills through ongoing training provided by the company or approved providers.
Our ideal Shift Manager will:
* Have experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-volume retail food service environment at manager or assistant manager level.
* Possess the desire to progress to an Area Manager role.
