This is a critical role that ensures the organisation meets its legal and ethical obligations under Data Protection and Freedom of Information legislation. You’ll be working across all levels of the force, acting as the key point of contact for the Information Commissioner’s Office, overseeing data breaches, advising on privacy risks, and ensuring the force remains compliant with Data Protection Act (Part 2 & 3) and Freedom of Information Act 2000.
