£26,000 - £28,000

You will be tasked with ensuring that all the Horizon Teachers teaching and support staff are thoroughly vetted and fully compliant in line with government requirements, in order that we can place them into mix of daily, long-term and permanent roles within London schools.

The Service Administrator role will involve:
* Ensuring worker suitability including eligibility to work, identification, experience, skills and criminal record checks (both DBS and Overseas where necessary)
* Inputting applicants' details onto in house systems, processing applicants' file including sending and chasing reference checks and DBS checks. Ensuring applicants' files meet all mandatory checks
* Regular monitoring of agency workers' visas and other documentation to ensure they are in date to ensure compliance and continued suitability
* Administrative support, maintenance and management of information
* Delivering relevant training to candidates
* Assisting with general telephone enquiries from candidates
* Assisting schools with any specific compliance/safeguarding requests
* Supporting recruitment activities by sourcing, tele screening and interviewing candidates
You’ll ideally have these skills or experience:
* As recruitment is a sales environment, we register high numbers of applications each week. You will ideally have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
* Target-driven and experienced in working towards tight deadlines and within short timescales.
* Confidence to speak to candidates on the phone, excellent communication skills is essential.
* Ability to work effectively as a team and build relationships at all levels.
* Strong work ethic with a flexible approach.
* Strong attention to detail
* IT literate (Keyboard skills, Microsoft Office applications, etc.)
