Commercial Team at Blue At Blue, Commercial operations are structured into three Commercial Divisions and a National Accounts Department, under the strategic leadership of our Chief Commercial Officer. Our Commercial Directors and Regional Directors guide divisional and regional operations, leading teams of Regional Managers to achieve strategic commercial objectives. The Commercial Support Executive plays a key enabling role in this structure by providing essential administrative and operational support to the commercial function. Overall purpose of the role The Commercial Support Executive provides critical support to the Commercial Leadership Team, ensuring operational efficiency across core commercial processes. This role combines traditional administrative responsibilities with functional contributions in areas such as company car fleet coordination, marketing support, market research, and presentation/document preparation. It is a dynamic position requiring excellent organisational skills, the ability to multitask, and confidence in communication with internal stakeholders and external introducers. Key responsibilities and accountabilities Administrative and Operational Support Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Commercial Leadership Team, including diary management, minute-taking, and coordination of commercial team meetings and conferences. Maintain accurate records relating to introducer intelligence, and commercial initiatives using CRM systems and shared documentation tools. Support the production of divisional and regional reports, performance summaries, and internal updates as required. Fleet Administration Act as the primary point of contact for company car fleet queries across the commercial team. Liaise with fleet providers to coordinate vehicle allocation, servicing schedules, documentation, and renewal processes. Maintain accurate records on vehicle usage, assignment, and adherence to compliance requirements. Marketing Support Assist in the implementation of commercial marketing campaigns and initiatives. Support the distribution and tracking of point-of-sale (POS) and marketing assets across divisional and regional teams and to introducers. Liaise with internal and external marketing stakeholders to coordinate local marketing activities and fulfil ad hoc requests. Management of social media pages. Market Research and Communication Make outbound calls to introducers to support market research, and industry intelligence gathering. Log and share insights on market activity, competitor offerings, and introducer sentiment. Support follow-up communications arising from marketing campaigns and feedback initiatives. Presentation and Desktop Publishing Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations for commercial meetings, reporting, and dealer-facing engagements. Create and edit basic desktop-published documents and assets using Microsoft InDesign (e.g., flyers, templates, briefing notes). Maintain and update presentation and document templates to ensure consistency with brand guidelines. Compliance and regulation Compliance and Conduct Understand and adhere to Blue’s data protection and compliance policies. Ensuring all marketing materials and branding remain consistent with regulatory requirements. Handle introducer and customer data responsibly and in accordance with internal governance. Always act to support good outcomes for introducers, in line with Consumer Duty (CD) obligations. Reporting and Administration Maintain accurate and current logs of communications, feedback, and research activity. Support divisional & regional teams by preparing summaries and administrative packs for meetings. Contribute operational and process feedback to improve Commercial Team workflows. Person specification Strong administrative and organisational skills, with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident making outbound calls to third parties in a professional manner. Basic understanding of marketing principles and experience supporting marketing activity. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Working knowledge of Microsoft InDesign or similar desktop publishing tools. Proactive, collaborative, and capable of working independently in an office & remote setting. Experience in financial services or motor finance (desirable but not essential). Additional requirements This is a hybrid role; occasional travel to team meetings and conferences, dealer events, or regional gatherings may be required. You may occasionally be asked to undertake duties outside of your standard remit or hours to meet business needs. Ongoing training and professional development will be provided to support performance and regulatory effectiveness.
