Data Centre HVAP Technician Purpose of the Role The Data Centre HVAP Technician is responsible for supervising and overseeing both planned and reactive maintenance activities, working closely with the Engineering Supervisor and Shift Leader. The role requires regular liaison with engineering management and client representatives to ensure full compliance with site policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations. Operating as a High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP), you will ensure all safety documentation is completed to the highest standard, with all work executed in line with company policies and Safe Systems of Work (SSoW). Key Responsibilities Deliver routine and reactive maintenance across building plant, equipment, and systems, consistently meeting or exceeding SLAs. Respond promptly to Building Management System (BMS) alarms and perform emergency repairs as required. Implement, manage, and enforce Permit to Work (PTW) controls to ensure safe execution of all activities. Develop, review, and follow switching schedules, SOPs, and EOPs in line with company policies and SSoW. Maintain evaporative cooling and domestic water systems in compliance with L8 (Legionella) requirements. Ensure spare parts availability to support maintenance and fault response activities.
