Healthcare Assistants Needed – Shoeburyness
Support a lady in her own home • Tracheostomy care • 12‑hour day & night shifts
We are currently looking for caring and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Shoeburyness, supporting a lovely lady in her own home. This is a 2:1 care package, offering consistency and the chance to build a strong rapport.
About the role
You’ll be working as part of our complex care team, providing high‑quality support that enables our client to feel safe, comfortable and independent at home.

What we’re looking for
* Previous care experience, including personal care
* Experience with tracheostomy care is essential
* A minimum of 2 shifts per week
* Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
* You must be currently based in the UK (we’re unable to offer sponsorship)

Responsibilities
* To closely observe and monitor the client for clinical intervention.
* To be friendly, engaging and hold a great conversation with the client around their interests.
* To assist the client with moving and handling, including the use of equipment such as hoists.
* To show the client dignity and respect when providing personal care to the client.
* To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person‑centred care is provided.
Requirements
* 6 months professional care experience in the UK based in a healthcare setting.
* Previous experience working with complex care clients.
* Someone who is flexible and able to offer availability with short notice including weekend shifts.
