Are you an experienced Senior Planning? Are you considering your next move and would be interested in working on a civil engineering project in Norwich? If so we may have the perfect role for you.
Our client a civils contractor is looking to add an experienced senior planner to their project working out of their site in Norwich on a hybrid basis. They have an interesting heavy civil engineering project and are looking to add a planning mgr to the porject to manager a team of planners.
The role
Your duties will include:
* Establish the projects planning approach to drive engagement of the whole project team with the programme in a collborative manner.
* Help the planning team to adopt efficient design, procurement, and construction strategies for successful project delivery.
* Develop and oversee the planning approach for the project taking into account both the clients requirement and the internal needs of the business.
* Interrogate the programme and identify areas for improvements, risk reduction and potential issues across the whole project.
* Oversee contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring performance and resolving contract-related issues.
The Candidate
You will have
* A relevant qualification in civil engineering or construction to HND level or equivalent
* Able to display previous experience in a similar role
* Competent in the use of P6 software.
