Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver differentiated, engaging lessons for students with SEND. Support individual EHCP outcomes through creative and responsive teaching. Foster a positive, safe, and structured classroom environment. Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families. Monitor and report on student progress using effective assessment tools. Contribute to reviews, target setting, and school development planning. Promote independence, communication, and emotional regulation. Qualifications and Experience: QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (essential). Previous experience working in a SEND or special school environment (preferred). Strong behaviour management and positive support strategies. A nurturing, patient, and creative teaching style. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. Adaptability, resilience, and a sense of humour.
