Location: Syon Manor College, Aston House, Uxbridge UB8 1SZ
Salary: Up to £23,500 per annum (not pro rata)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Wednesday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Thursday – Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Contract: Fixed Term until October 2026, Term Time Only
Start Date: November 2025

About The Role
Are you committed to supporting pupils in their personal and educational development? We are looking for a caring and proactive Pastoral Support Assistant to deliver a high‑quality education support service to pupils, in accordance with company policies, procedures and practices, and the standards set by the Regulatory Body. This role is vital in helping to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment where every pupil feels supported and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the subject teacher/tutor to ensure the delivery of high‑quality education for all students.
* Ensure that all relevant education policies and procedures are implemented in full.
* Provide appropriate support to students, individually or in groups, to enable them to access the curriculum independently.
* Promote, in line with company policies, the physical, educational and moral development of students.
* Ensure that available equipment and resources are used, stored and maintained efficiently, reporting any maintenance issues to appropriate staff.
* Support the subject teacher and/or tutor in organising the classroom, its resources, student groupings and displays to provide a stimulating learning situation appropriate for students with autistic spectrum disorder.
Required Experience
* Experience of challenging behaviour and experience with SEN learners with Autism.
