Affinity Workforce Solutions are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support role within the Swindon area, working with schools across The Whitehorse Federation. Responsibilities
* Supporting the teaching staff to help implement the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
* Under the supervision of the class teacher, undertake a range of directed activities to support the educational and development needs of pupils.
* Assist in the evaluation of student progress while feeding this back to the teacher.
* Assist teachers with the organisation and maintenance of the classroom resources.
Requirements
* Good standard of education (5 x GCSE's - English and Maths C or above).
* Valid enhanced DBS.
* Right to Work in the UK.
* A positive, can-do attitude.
Desirable Qualifications
* Have experience working with children (Does not have to be within a school setting).
* A relevant, recognised qualification such as the NVQ for Teaching Assistants or Qualified first aider.
