Job Purpose
The Clinical Sales Specialist is a field-based position focused on selling Diagnostic Imaging products into hospitals, imaging centres, radiation oncology, etc. This role serves as the primary contact for our customers as they investigate the acquisition of Guerbet Solutions products and services.
Key Responsibilities
* CRM Management and Data Integrity: It is essential that the Sales Specialist maintains up-to-date and accurate records within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This includes the timely and precise documentation of all account-related information such as client contact details, sales opportunities, meeting notes, and daily visit logs. Accurate CRM data is critical for effective account oversight, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Internal Communication and Strategic Alignment: Actively participate in all scheduled internal meetings, including weekly team catch-ups, management update calls, sales forecasting sessions, pipeline reviews, and quarterly business review (QBR) meetings. It is essential to come prepared with detailed updates, insights, and performance metrics to support informed discussions, drive alignment with business objectives, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
* Client Engagement and Field Activity: Regularly travel to customer sites to conduct face-to-face meetings, build strong client relationships, and gain a deeper understanding of customer needs and business environments. Proactively engage in cold calling and prospecting activities to identify and develop new business opportunities. A strong field presence and direct client interaction are critical to driving account growth and customer satisfaction.
* Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including clinical thought leaders and C-level executives. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding their strategic priorities and aligning solutions accordingly.
* Sales Execution & Account Planning: Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet business objectives and revenue targets. Lead territory reviews and adapt plans based on market dynamics, customer feedback, and competitive activity.
* Solution Presentation & Proposal Development: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, sales quotations, and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs. Collaborate with radiologists and medical professionals to establish best practices in protocol management.
* Market Intelligence & Strategic Input: Share relevant market trends, commissioning guidance, and pathway insights with internal stakeholders. Contribute to the development of sales strategies, forecasts, and operational plans.
* Access & Pathway Optimisation: Maximize access to Guerbet products by influencing commissioning trends and supporting service redesign initiatives. Develop efficiency tools for payers and contribute to pathway development and optimization.
* Clinical & Educational Support: Deliver clinical support and product demonstrations to healthcare professionals, ensuring effective and safe use of injectors and associated consumables through hands-on training, troubleshooting, and ongoing guidance. Deliver CPD-accredited educational modules within the territory to support customer knowledge and engagement.
Education:
• Certified Radiographer degree or Bachelor of Science
• Additional, Business Administration degree a strong plus
Experience:
• Proficiency in English required
• Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Valid driving license
• Negotiation skills
