About the Role In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering a stimulating and engaging Food Technology curriculum for students of all abilities. You will be responsible for: Planning, preparing, and delivering creative and informative lessons that ignite a passion for food and nutrition in students. Utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential. Implementing the National Curriculum for Food Technology, ensuring lessons are aligned with national standards. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Contributing to the development of the Food Technology department, including curriculum planning and resource development. Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment within the school kitchen facilities. About the Person We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Food Technology Teacher with: A proven track record of success in teaching Food Technology, particularly at the secondary level. A strong understanding of food science principles, nutrition, and healthy eating practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students of all ages and backgrounds. The ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters a love of food and practical skills development. A commitment to health and safety standards within the kitchen environment. A passion for the subject and a desire to inspire the next generation of food enthusiasts.
