Responsibilities
 * Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for individuals with complex podiatric needs
 * Work autonomously and as part of a wider MDT across a range of community settings
 * Lead and support the continuous improvement of clinical pathways within:
 o High-risk foot care (diabetes and vascular)
 o Complex wound care
 o Nail surgery services
 * Act as a source of expert advice and clinical leadership across the podiatry team and wider health system
 * Supervise and mentor podiatry staff, students, and other AHP and Nursing colleagues
 * Contribute to service development, quality improvement, audit, and evidence-based practice
 * Collaborate with system partners to ensure equitable, effective care across BNSSG
 * Take responsibility for clinical governance across the diabetes and vascular pathway, wound care pathway and nail surgery pathway within the podiatry service alongside the CLOP
 * Work within community and secondary care to an Advanced Practice level
 * Work closely with other Clinical Pathway leads, Operational Leads and Podiatry CLOP to ensure resilience across the group of Leads
 * Provide advanced skills in diabetes footcare and vascular podiatry, including wound care and nail surgery to manage a varied and complex high-risk caseload while providing clinical leadership
 * Lead the development of an educational framework to improve knowledge and skills of system partners within BNSSG and the organisation
Qualifications / Requirements
 * Demonstrated experience in advanced podiatry practice with leadership responsibilities
 * Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team across community and secondary care settings
 * Strong clinical governance, audit, and service development capabilities
 * Clinical expertise in diabetes footcare, vascular podiatry, wound care, and nail surgery
 * Experience in mentoring and supervising staff and students
