Flood and Coastal Risk Management Advisor Portfolio Management Office - 31252
Support the allocation of funding within our investment portfolio to achieve flood outcomes. Collaborate with team members and external partners, seek technical input, and work with local teams to manage allocations. Ensure effective program management and develop new working methods for the upcoming investment program starting in April 2026.
The role involves:
* Analyzing FCRM program data to inform future decisions
* Presenting information, risks, and issues to senior management
* Leading technical aspects of allocation and funding
* Supporting the FCRM Refresh process
Based in the FCRM directorate, within the Portfolio Management Assurance and Commercial department. The team manages funding and performance to meet corporate flood protection goals, working collaboratively with stakeholders across the EA and Defra. We value development, wellbeing, and inclusion.
Required skills include:
* Methodical work approach and attention to detail
* Ability to prioritize and manage workload
* Data management, analysis, and visualization skills
* Experience with data sets, spreadsheets, and analysis tools
* FCRM or programming experience is preferred but not essential
