Social Care & Education are recruiting experienced Support Workers to support adults with complex needs, including autism, learning disabilities, epilepsy, non-verbal communication, and behaviours that may challenge. You’ll deliver person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and well‑being.
Key Duties
* Provide personalised care, including personal care and daily living support
* Assist with communication, social interaction, and community activities
* Administer medication safely
* Follow and update care plans
* Support individuals calmly during challenging behaviours
* Maintain accurate records and ensure a safe environment
* Work closely with healthcare professionals and the wider team
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with complex needs
* Current CPI (MAPA) or equivalent training
* Moving & Handling experience
* Medication administration experience
* Strong communication skills and a calm, caring approach
* Good understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
* Drivers and non-drivers welcome
