Description
As the HR Advisor, you will be responsible for the full HR life cycle, including but not limited to:
* Employee Relations: Provide accurate and timely advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices; support and manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management; conduct investigations and attend disciplinary/grievance hearings where appropriate.
* HR Policy and Compliance: Ensure HR policies are up-to-date and compliant with current legislation; support the implementation and communication of HR policies across the organisation; monitor HR practices for adherence to internal standards and legal requirements.
* Performance and Development: Assist in developing and implementing performance appraisal systems; support managers and employees in identifying training and development needs; coordinate or deliver training sessions and HR-related workshops when needed.
* Data Management and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR systems; produce regular reports and analytics on HR metrics such as turnover, absence, and employee engagement; ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection policies.
* Projects and Initiatives: Participate in and support HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, or system implementations; contribute to organisational change processes and culture development.
Profile
The successful HR Advisor should be:
* CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it.
* Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
* Sound knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Confident in managing sensitive and complex employee relations issues.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
