As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, build, and support secure infrastructure solutions that underpin critical services and applications, while working closely with developers, testers, and platform teams to improve automation, streamline deployments, and enhance system reliability across complex environments.
You will play an important role in modernising infrastructure and deployment practices, supporting containerised environments, and ensuring systems remain secure, scalable, and resilient. Working within agile teams, you will be encouraged to develop your expertise, take ownership of key deliverables, and contribute to a collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure solutions
* Automate and optimise deployment and operational processes using Infrastructure as Code
* Collaborate with cross‑functional agile teams to support CI/CD practices
* Support and troubleshoot applications and infrastructure environments
* Deploy and enhance containerised platforms including Kubernetes and Docker
* Improve and monitor system reliability, resilience, and performance
* Contribute and innovate through continuous improvement and modern DevOps practices
Essential Qualifications
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
* Familiarity with container technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift
* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
* Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems
* Exposure to cloud and modern platform engineering practices
* Scripting or programming experience with Python, Bash, Java, or Go
* Familiarity with source control tools such as Git
* Strong communication and collaboration skills within agile environments
* UK Security Clearance / Developed Vetting (DV) or eligibility to undergo clearance
