Job Description
Morson are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Manufacturing Engineer for our client, a leading defence contractor.
Responsibilities:
You will be translating design information in the form of CAD models, BOM, circuit drawings, material and manufacturing process specifications into processes to support Loom Assembly / End Make
off data and installation as part of the Manufacturing Engineering process ensuring the original design intent is met.
Generate manufacturing build instructions using SAPCAMS planning tool or equivalent electronic planning aid
Supporting the production of aircraft build, including electrical looms, components, amalgamations, racks and panels, assemblies and installation
Your skills and experiences:
The applicant should typically be educated to HNC or have completed a Craft/Technician Apprenticeship experience in an Electrical Manufacturing role
Experience and knowledge of Electrical Loom Assy and installation to build processes
Able to interpret electrical drawings, Wiring diagrams, standards and processes
Must have experience and proficient with the use of Microsoft office suite
Demonstrate drive to challenge and Improve processes and working practices
Good problem-solving skills
