You’ll be paid a salary of up to £61,000 per annum DOE and receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
Reporting to the General Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for the management of a team of 5; including Shift Operations Managers, Stock and System Manager and Training Manager.
* Responsible for ensuring the site works within legislative requirements, taking account of health & safety at all times.
* Responsible for ensuring all working procedures are clearly defined and cascaded, with regular reviews to ensure effectiveness.
* Must be proactive in seeking improvements in process/methods of operating.
* Responsible for the achievement of Key Performance Indicators and delivering a high level of on time, on cost, to a high customer service standard.
* Responsible for always ensuring excellent working relationships with the Customer stakeholders and being aware of their business needs and objectives.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
• Must have proven senior operations management experience in a high-volume service driven operation.
• Strong budgetary experience – including formulation and analysis.
• Strong, proven project and change management with quantifiable results.
• Will have excellent team building, leadership and motivational skills.
