Lead Front End Developer| Leeds | Hybrid | £60,000 - £70,000 DOE
We're working with a growing organisation looking to hire a Frontend Lead to take ownership of their web platform and digital experience.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll guide a team of developers while shaping the technical direction of the frontend. You'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable, and accessible web experiences, working closely with UX, backend, and wider stakeholders to drive the roadmap forward.
The Role
* Own the frontend architecture and technical roadmap
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of developers
* Deliver performant, scalable, and user-focused web experiences
* Work closely with stakeholders to prioritise and plan delivery
* Collaborate with UX and backend teams to deliver seamless user journeys
* Drive best practices across code quality, testing, and documentation
* Continuously improve the platform and reduce technical debt
Tech Stack

* AWS, Docker, CI/CD
About You
* Strong experience with React, Next.js, and modern frontend development
* Previous experience leading or mentoring developers
* Proven track record of building and maintaining complex web applications
* Comfortable working cross-functionally in agile teams
* Strong focus on performance, accessibility, and maintainable code
