What You Will Do: Act as lead case officer for strategic and major planning applications from inception through post-permission stages. Provide specialist pre-application advice and manage complex application processes. Prepare and deliver clear, persuasive presentations to the Planning Committee. Communicate complex planning matters effectively to varied audiences and stakeholders. Draft written statements for appeals, hearings, and public inquiries and present the Council's case where required. Negotiate with developers to secure Section 106 obligations and manage CIL matters, including financial viability considerations.
