The Role
As a Practice Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting fee earners and ensuring the smooth running of the team. You’ll manage your own workflow, coordinate diaries and travel, handle client communications, and collaborate with support teams to deliver a seamless service.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as first point of contact for Lawyers, managing time and priorities
* Proactive diary and travel management, including international itineraries
* Handle internal and client communications professionally and efficiently
* Oversee document production and ensure accuracy and consistency
* Support business development activities, events, and marketing initiatives
* Maintain accurate electronic and hard copy filing, ensuring compliance
* Assist with billing, expenses, and financial administration
* Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
About You
* Experience within a legal firm is a must, ideally within a Tax or Corporate department
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* High attention to detail with a proactive, adaptable approach
* Strong client service focus and ability to handle confidential information
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and document management systems
