Job Description
What you’ll do
We are currently looking for experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to support our client with complex care needs in his home in Burton Latimer. Our client has Motor Neurone Disease, he lives with his wife and they have a small pet dog in their home.
The ideal candidate will be caring, kind, patient-focused, posses strong communication skills and the appropriate clinical experience to deliver high-quality care.
As a Care Assistant working within this care package, you will provide a high standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
4. Tracheostomy care
5. PEG for medication and feeding
6. Ventilator management
7. Moving and handling
8. Suction and cough assist
9. Catheter care
10. Supporting daily routines
Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
The successful candidate will ideally have care experience, ideally within complex care.
