* Lead, motivate, and support a team of operatives to meet daily safety, quality, and output targets.
* Plan shift activities, allocate tasks, manage breaks and rotas, and carry out team briefings.
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and site standards, completing all relevant checks and paperwork accurately.
* Oversee intake, processing, packing, and dispatch functions to maintain consistent product flow.
* Monitor stock levels, minimise waste, and manage product changeovers efficiently.
* Liaise with maintenance, transport, and QA teams to resolve production or quality issues promptly.
* Train and develop staff to maintain skill levels and drive continuous improvement.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping (5S) and safe working practices at all times.
* Use basic IT systems (Excel, Outlook, and handheld scanners) to record data, track performance, and report on KPIs.
About You
* Proven experience as a Team Leader, Line Leader, or Production Supervisor within food, agricultural, or manufacturing environments.
* Strong people management and communication skills, with the ability to lead by example.
* Solid understanding of food safety, quality control, and H&S principles.
* Organised, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure with a “muck-in” approach.
* Confident using IT for reporting and traceability purposes.
* Flexibility to support seasonal peaks or overtime where required.
* FLT licence desirable but not essential (training can be provided).
