Aramark UK is currently recruiting a Sous Chef to join our team at Windsor Combermere Barracks.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of shifts in the absence of the Head Chef, producing up to 1000 meals at a time. The role requires excellent organization and the ability to work well under pressure.

To be eligible for this role, you must:
* Have been a UK resident for the past 3 years
* Have the legal right to work in the UK
* Be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
You must have reliable transport due to the location and limited public transport options.

* This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, including alternate weekends. Shift hours range between 06:00-14:00 and 11:00-19:00.

A day in the life of a Sous Chef:
* Manage shifts and guide your team when the Head Chef is unavailable, producing up to 1000 meals, requiring strong organization and stress management skills.
* Organize and support your team to ensure smooth daily operations, task allocation, and efficient use of time and resources.
* Prepare food according to recipes, with full knowledge of menu items and allergen information.
* Manage food production levels, minimize wastage, place orders, record wastage, receive and store deliveries following FIFO principles.
* Perform deep cleans regularly with your team, ensuring all staff are trained and compliant with standards.
Ideal candidate:
* UK resident for the past 3 years with legal right to work
* Ability to pass security vetting and DBS checks
* Relevant culinary qualification and at least 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef or Senior CDP
* Trade test required for interview
