Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the delivery of high‑quality engineering design services on water and wastewater treatment projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary environment, producing safe, efficient, and cost‑effective mechanical design solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Produce mechanical design layouts that are cost‑effective and meet project specifications and buildability requirements.
• Ensure standardised design practices are applied consistently across projects.
• Provide estimates and technical input to proposals and tender stages.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated design delivery.
• Ensure all designs address environmental and health and safety standards.
About You
• Understanding of water and sewage treatment processes.
• Minimum HND in a relevant engineering discipline; degree preferred.
• Strong communication skills and confidence in presenting technical proposals.
