Essential Job Functions What You’ll Be Doing: · Own and manage infrastructure platforms from design through to incident resolution · Drive automation and operational efficiency using PowerCLI, Terraform, and Ansible · Ensure platform stability and security across vSphere, NSX, SRM, Azure, Active Directory, and Linux distributions · Collaborate across the 24x7 operation to uplift technical standards and share best practices · Support hybrid environments with a focus on uptime, scalability, and compliance What You’ll Bring: · 10 years of hands-on experience across VMware, Microsoft, and Linux ecosystems · Proven ability to lead technical troubleshooting and platform optimisation · Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) · Experience in secure environments and eligibility for UK government DV clearance · A proactive mindset with a passion for mentoring and growing technical teams Required Skills & Technologies VMware vSphere, NSX-T/V, SRM vSAN, VCF, Tanzu Aria Suite (vRealize) PowerCLI, vRO, Terraform Networking fundamentals Microsoft Azure, SCCM, Intune SQL Server, AD, ADFS Windows Server, Hyper-V Azure AD, Debugging Tools SLA & escalation management Linux RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu Bash, Python, Ansible Docker, Kubernetes Systemd, YUM/APT CI/CD familiarity Desirable Skills & Growth Potential We know great engineers aren’t built from checklists—they grow through curiosity, collaboration, and challenge.
