The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust is the only NHS trust to hold dual accreditation for the Investors in People. Originally formed in 1992, the Trust received Foundation Trust status in 2009.
With around 1,450 staff, The Walton Centre treats more than 127,000 outpatients and 18,000 inpatients each year. Qualifications
* NVQ level 3 in Clinical Imaging Support Workers, or equivalent experience.
* Proven communication skills
* Knowledge of Health & Safety at Work Act, Risk Management procedures and IR(ME)R 2000 & IRR 1999.
Knowledge
* Significant experience in a patient centred or customer service environment.
* Experience of dealing with the public in difficult/emotional circumstances
* NHS experience
Skills
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and staff
* Flexibility with regard to working hours.
* To be able to wear radiation protective clothing
