AI Senior Consultant – Tax Technology
Base Location: Glasgow (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)
The KPMG Tax Technology & Innovation are made up of Technology Consultants, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Data Architects & Engineers, Multi-disciplinary Engineering teams and IT Service delivery professionals working on a large portfolio of systems used to improve productivity and solve key business problems across Tax & Legal.

Join our dynamic and rapidly growing Tax Technology & Innovation team at KPMG, where we are leading the way in transforming the tax industry through technology. As part of KPMG’s $5bn investment in technology over five years, you will play a key leadership role in helping both our clients and our internal teams harness the power of technological advances, particularly in artificial intelligence, to better manage tax obligations and drive business value.
What will you be doing?
As an AI Senior Consultant in Tax Technology, you will oversee a portfolio of innovative projects and propositions, leading a team of business analysts and project delivery leads. You will work closely with clients to co-create and implement cutting-edge solutions that address their most pressing tax challenges, with a particular focus on AI-driven transformation.
In this role you will:
1. Develop and deliver AI presentations and demonstrations, including both standard offerings and customised proof of concepts, to prospects, clients, and partners.
2. Serve as a subject matter expert on AI applications in tax, advising clients on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
3. Lead client workshops, assessments, and solution design sessions to tailor AI offerings to client needs.
4. Oversee the implementation of AI-enabled tax solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable value for clients.
5. Stay abreast of developments in AI, tax technology and regulatory changes, translating insights into actionable strategies.
6. Serve as a subject matter expert on AI applications in tax, advising clients on emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
7. Champion the integration of AI technologies within with KPMG Tax & Legal function, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, pilot, and scale AI solutions.
What will you need to do it?
8. A demonstrable in depth understanding of AI applications in a professional services environment
9. Proven ability to lead technology adoption initiatives and manage complex projects for both internal and external clients
10. Excellent client-facing skills and stakeholder management skills
11. Experience in team leadership and talent development
12. Passionate about delivering an excellent service to clients
Skills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:
13. Whilst Tax experience is not essential an Accounting or tax qualification such as ACCA, ACA, or CTA or equivalent would be beneficial
14. Experience in the end to end sales of Technology Solutions
