As a Labour Ward Coordinator at East Cheshire, you will have opportunities to influence practice, contribute to service development, and grow as a clinical leader, supported by an approachable senior leadership team.We are seeking an adaptable and resilient individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The role involves supporting medical, midwifery, and support staff to ensure the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of maternity care.The post holder will be responsible for coordinating staff and workload across the antenatal, postnatal, and labour ward areas, leading the management of acute obstetric emergencies, and working within the Clinical Governance framework to maintain and improve standards of care.The role forms part of the senior midwifery team responsible for the seamless 24/7 running of the maternity unit and includes participation in the on-call rota to support the provision of a continuous maternity service.Working for our organisationWe are committed to providing the best quality integrated care to our patients.
