We are currently looking for a Part-Time Payroll Assistant to join our clients’ busy team based in the Medway Towns. This will be on an initial 6-month temporary basis but has the potential to be extended/ turn permanent for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroller that is detail-oriented and comfortable working with payroll data in a fast-paced environment, as well as assisting with wider HR administration.
Duties will include:
1. Collate and input payroll data, including sickness and absence information
2. Submit payroll data to external providers and perform manual calculations
3. Validate, reconcile, and report payroll outputs to Finance
4. Handle payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
5. Set up new starters and assist with internal/external audits
6. Ensure GDPR and data protection compliance
The successful candidate will:
7. Be available immediately
8. Have previous experience in a payroll support or payroll assistant role
9. Have strong numeracy skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
10. Be able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
11. Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office 365
