The Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC) and Zenzic are at the heart of the UK’s drive towards Net Zero and Connected & Autonomous Mobility. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Investor Engagement Lead to lead investor relations and programme delivery efforts aimed at increasing private investment into the UK automotive innovation ecosystem. This is a high-impact role responsible for enabling UK companies to attract and secure capital to support their tech development and commercial growth. You will lead our investor engagement strategy and deliver programmes that foster meaningful, long-term relationships between private investors and innovative UK businesses. Your work will help unlock critical funding for start-ups and scaling ventures in both Net Zero and Connected Autonomous Mobility. You will represent both the Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) and Zenzic brands, acting as a trusted advocate for the UK’s growing innovation ecosystem. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Investor Engagement Develop and deliver APC’s investor engagement strategy for Net Zero & Connected Autonomous Mobility Map and qualify investor segments (VCs, CVCs, angels, family offices) Shape bespoke outreach campaigns (roundtables, roadshows, digital forums Programme Delivery Lead collaborative design and planning of end-to-end investor initiatives, for example accelerators, events, webinars or showcases Create and manage plans, budgets, suppliers and cross-team logistics in relation to investor engagement Capture feedback and optimise future activities Insights & Reporting Gather and analyse investment data and market trends to inform our teams, our products and our stakeholders Support internal teams in building investment awareness to enhance client impact and stakeholder value Deliver, measure and report impact KPIs regularly Craft impact insights and case studies that demonstrate and quantify APC’s impact through investor engagement efforts Networks, Relationships & Advocacy Build and steward long-term investor relationships and external network Represent APC at key industry and government forums Liaise with DBT, CCAV, Innovate UK and other stakeholders WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Experience - Demonstrable success in investor relations, start-up ecosystems ideally within the mobility or related innovation sectors Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, finance, or a related field. Master’s degree (MBA or similar) preferred Knowledge - Solid understanding of start-up businesses, their funding lifecycles, scaling challenges and strategies Skills - Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing complex programmes.
