CCTV Engineer - Leeds - up to £35,000 pa
Join the team as a Technician responsible for installing and maintaining CCTV cameras, on-street technology, and control room systems.
Responsibilities:
* Install and maintain CCTV cameras, systems, and associated equipment efficiently.
* Install and maintain on-street technology, sensors, and IoT devices.
* Set up and maintain data transmission services.
* Support the control room IT hardware and software.
* Provide training and guidance to support staff.
Qualifications:
Relevant qualifications in CCTV, Electrical, or IT disciplines required.
* Configure software systems and assess functionality.
* Perform fault finding following guidance accurately.
* Safely install and maintain technical systems.
* Evaluate software effectiveness and recommend enhancements.
* Prioritize workloads, manage multiple projects, and provide guidance.
* Concisely communicate complex technical issues.
Knowledge:
* Relevant knowledge in CCTV, Electrical, or IT disciplines.
* Familiarity with commercial CCTV and data transmission technologies.
Experience:
* Work independently and in teams.
* Familiarity with various computer systems and software.
* Understanding of data transmission methods.
* Prior experience with CCTV or electrical/mechanical systems.
* Installation, configuration, and assessment of hardware/software.
Desirable Qualifications:
Additional qualifications in technology-related areas.
* Effectively manage stock and consumable technology items.
* Experience with public space CCTV installations.
* Familiarity with IP radio technology, fibre transmission, and Cisco equipment.
