What we are looking for
Diverse are recruiting for a Telesales Executive to join the Diverse Waste Solutions team who will be responsible for contacting businesses, generating new leads, and promoting our waste management services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sales, building relationships, and earning commission. For the right candidate, this role can also develop into a Business Development position, offering opportunities for career progression and increased responsibility.
Main responsibilities
* Making outbound calls to potential business customers
* Generating leads and booking appointments
* Managing and developing all new client accounts from initial contact through onboarding
* Building and maintaining strong long-term customer relationships
* Explaining our services and identifying customer needs
* Following up on enquiries, quotations, and new business opportunities
* Achieving sales targets and KPIs
* Updating CRM systems accurately and maintaining client records
* Providing ongoing support to new customers to ensure excellent service and retention
About you
* Previous telesales, sales, or customer service experience
* Experience managing customer relationships and new client accounts
* Experience working towards targets and KPIs
* Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate customer records
* Confident communicating with businesses over the phone and by email
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Confident and professional telephone manner
* Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
* Self-motivated and target driven
* Good organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Ability to manage new client accounts effectively
* Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
* Competent IT and CRM system skills
* NVQ or equivalent qualification in Sales or Business Administration
* Training in telesales, account management, or customer relations
* Full UK driving licence (if progression into Business Development is expected)
* Experience in B2B sales
* Experience within the waste management, recycling, or service industry
* Experience generating and converting leads into long-term customers
* Negotiation and closing skills
* Problem-solving ability
* Ability to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
* Adaptable and proactive approach to work
What we can offer you
* From £28,000+ salary depending on experience
* Remote working available depending on experience –preferably local to Trowbridge to be in the office full time, however, we would consider remote working for the right candidate with desired experience/qualifications but will be required to visit the office monthly
