Aboutthe role:
As a Senior SoftwareEngineer consultant youll be part of a client team buildinginnovative products. We expect you to be curious passionate drivenand enthusiastic. Youll be proficient at problem solving andcrafting scalable resilient and faulttolerant architectures. Youllbe an effective communicator and a teamplayer. You and your teamwill move in a fastpaced engineering environment achievingoutstanding results and delivering exciting projects.
About You:
A YLD Software Engineering Consultant is ahighlyskilled developer who exemplifies the highest standard insoftware engineering and enjoys sharing their knowledge andexperience with others.
Youll have theopportunity to build and deliver software within some interestingprojects both in terms of the product and the methodology. We workin an Agile environment (Scrum) with a testfirst mindset (actuallywriting code without tests should be unthinkable). We are also bigadvocates of pair programming and nothing is released until we havea code review.

Your daytoday responsibilitieswill look like this:
Architectingdesigning building and delivering highlyavailable alwayson zerodowntime API products andsolutions;
* Collaborating withengineers product owners and other colleagues to seek exciting andresultsoriented problems for deliveringvalue;
* Writing clear maintainable code thatwill scale;
* Contributing to productionoperation and monitoring of systems and aware ofSLAs;
* Learning growing and mentoring otherengineers through code reviews and pair programming to acceleratetheir technical mastery;
* Proactively lookingfor ways to improve team processes;
* Drivinggood practices within your team and making an impact on the wholedepartment.
Requirements
Youllhave:
* Senior levelexperience in modern .NET applications written in C# 7 .NET Core 5NuGet
* Experience designing HTTP APIs usingtechnologies such as ASP.net MVCWebAPI.
* Experience in delivering comprehensivetest strategies that cover all aspects of the system such astestdriven development (TDD)
* An understandingof systems design such as strengths and weaknesses of distributedsystems cloud technologies eventsourcing.
* Experience in usingPlatformasaService clouds ideally inAzure
* Experience with modern working practicessuch as CI/CD pairing and iterativedelivery
* Experience working in autonomous agileenvironments;
* Availability to work a flexibleoncall rota responding to and resolving criticalincidents.
Nice tohaves:
* Experience inbuilding highperformance API products;
* FinTechexperience;
* Experience launching APIs to bothinternal and external consumers;
* Experiencebuilding cloud systems (speciallyAzure).
* Experience using hosted documentdatabases such as MongoDB and CosmosBD
* Experience using Event Driven architecturesand messaging
