You’ll focus on mechanical construction surveillance with a clear emphasis on quality assurance. It’s a role for someone with a few years of experience and a keen eye for detail. Observe and report on mechanical installation activities across site systems Support identification and escalation of any non-conformance issues Assist quality and construction teams with day-to-day site surveillance Help ensure all works align with specifications and formal design approvals Contribute to document control and inspection record-keeping Coordinate findings and insights with site engineering and QA teams Participate in reviews of Quality Control Plans and project KPIs Maintain a strong presence on site, supporting safety and quality outcomes Qualifications Essential Skills and Qualifications: Mechanical qualification or Construction Project Management qualification (or relevant hands-on industry training) Minimum 3 years’ experience in mechanical QA/QC or site installation Familiarity with pipework, supports, HVAC, static or rotating equipment Understanding of ISO9001 or equivalent construction quality standards Experience writing reports and using Outlook, Excel and Teams A proactive mindset with attention to technical detail Good written communication and team coordination skills Comfortable being based on-site the majority of the time✔️ Desired Skills: Worked on large mechanical installation or infrastructure projects Awareness of CDM responsibilities and project governance Understanding of QA practices like FME or joint integrity checks Supported Quality Control Plan reviews or documentation Familiarity with construction assurance tools like BTS or BST Additional Information Ready to shape the future?
