Security Architects with strong Azure skills are wanted by a Software Engineering organisation that develops a wide range of market-leading InsureTech solutions.
As Security Architect, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and maintaining the security posture of the Azure environment. You’ll collaborate with engineering, DevOps, compliance, and leadership teams to architect secure cloud solutions that align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
This Security Architect opportunity offers an annual salary up to £100,000, a 10% annual bonus, 10% company pension, private health and dental care, and more! The team works on a hybrid model, going on-site 2 days a week at their Central London hub.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement secure Azure architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
2. Define and enforce security best practices, frameworks, and policies (e.g., Zero Trust, NIST, CIS).
3. Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security reviews for cloud solutions.
4. Implement and manage tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Security Center, and Key Vault.
5. Partner with architects and engineers within infrastructure, network, application, and business teams to ensure solutions are developed and managed according to GCIS policies and standards.
6. Advise on identity and access management using Azure AD, RBAC, and conditional access.
7. Support compliance efforts (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
8. Have solid knowledge and experience in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
9. Work closely with cross-functional teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
