About the Role
We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in electrical systems and plumbing, combined with a solid background in quality inspection and process control. This role is critical to ensuring smooth production, safety compliance, and consistent product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met efficiently and safely
* Oversee and coordinate electrical and plumbing maintenance activities within the facility
* Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet company and regulatory standards
* Identify and resolve operational issues, including equipment faults and process inefficiencies
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Train, guide, and monitor production staff to maintain high performance and quality standards
* Maintain accurate records related to production output, maintenance, and quality control
* Collaborate with management to implement continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing
* Experience with quality control, inspections, and reporting
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
* Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
Qualifications
* Technical certification or trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, or a related field (preferred)
* Additional training in quality management or manufacturing processes is an advantage
