Monarch Education is seeking a qualified and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a nursery in Erdington. This is a long‑term position working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm. Role Responsibilities Plan, deliver and evaluate purposeful learning activities aligned with the EYFS. Support children's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development through high‑quality interactions. Promote learning through play and encourage curiosity, independence and confidence. Carry out accurate observations, assessments and record‑keeping to support the planning cycle. Maintain a safe, secure and compliant environment in line with safeguarding and health & safety procedures. Follow child protection policies and ensure the welfare of all children is prioritised. Support children's daily routines, including hygiene, mealtimes and transitions. Ensure learning areas are clean, organised and well‑resourced. Communicate professionally with parents, carers and colleagues, maintaining confidentiality at all times. Work collaboratively within the team to uphold consistent standards of care and behaviour management. Essential Requirements A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, Early Years Educator). A minimum of three months' experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting. Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Understanding of child development milestones and age‑appropriate planning. Ability to create engaging and inclusive activities supporting holistic development. Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills. A reliable, professional and child‑centred approach.
