What will I be doing?
1. The generation and development of sales via reuse shops, managing the collection, repair, and resale of recovered items from HWRCs and donations. This includes online posting, advert creation, image capture, and stock management to support reuse agreements.
2. Managing the team of operatives working within the Reuse shops and hub.
3. Achieving financial targets, operational cost targets, and delivering sales through detailed P&L analysis.
4. Supporting contract management in formulating and implementing the ReUse business plan to promote regional reuse growth.
5. Building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients regarding ReUse hub performance.
6. Coordinating receipt, repair, and dispatch of goods according to Standard Operating Protocols.
7. Keeping stock control systems updated and ensuring inventory accuracy.
8. Producing regular reports and statistics daily, weekly, and monthly.
9. Managing maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment associated with hub operations.
10. Ensuring goods are cleaned, repaired, and tested per Quality Standard Operating Protocols.
11. Achieving sales targets for ReUse Hub, shops, and online (Click & Collect).
12. Maximising customer interest and sales through effective product display.
13. Forecasting profit and sales, and planning budgets.
What are the requirements?
1. Knowledge of retail and online selling.
2. Excellent customer service skills and experience.
3. Experience in accurate stock control.
4. Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of staff and/or volunteers.
5. Aptitude for developing and implementing visual product display strategies.
6. PC literacy for creating and managing advert content and product descriptions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
7. Equivalent of Grade A-C in GCSE Maths and English Language.
8. Current driver’s license.
