Radis Community Care has an opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner to support our services in the East and North East regions. This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel to the services you support and some home working. You will have access to a desk and office facilities at one of our local services. Our current services in the region include Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Stoke-on-Trent, North Yorkshire, and Hartlepool.
About the role
The HR Business Partner plays a critical role in working closely with management and employees to provide comprehensive support and deliver a value-added HR service. Your responsibilities will include:
* Acting as a consultant to management on HR-related issues and providing HR policy guidance and interpretation.
* Serving as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters, including TUPE transfers.
* Providing guidance to managers and employees in a timely and professional manner.
* Conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when required.
* Implementing HR initiatives aligned with overall business requirements.
* Partnering with leadership to develop and implement organizational strategies.
* Maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure compliance.
* Driving HR initiatives to establish and retain talent within the organization.
* Collaborating with managers to understand future resourcing needs and providing strategic solutions.
* Providing day-to-day performance management guidance to managers.
* Assisting in developing and implementing performance improvement plans.
* Analyzing HR data to identify organizational issues and develop solutions.
* Offering guidance on pay and remuneration issues.
* Working with the HR Shared Services Administration Manager to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies across HR functions to deliver HR excellence.
Skills and qualifications
We seek a self-motivated, conscientious, and proactive individual with integrity. The successful candidate will have:
* At least 2 years of experience working in a busy HR department in a similar role.
* A minimum of CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
* An understanding of HR processes and current UK employment law.
* Experience providing HR advice within the care sector is desirable.
* Experience operating in a regional role is preferred but not essential.
You must have a car available for business use and be prepared to stay overnight occasionally.
