Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in St Andrews for a Golf & Events Manager at Malmaison & Hotel du Vin. The Golf & Events Manager will oversee and coordinate golf-related activities and events, ensuring top-tier experiences for guests and clients. Key responsibilities include managing golf facilities, coordinating events and tournaments, maintaining equipment, organizing irrigation systems, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role entails fostering relationships with guests, vendors, and team members to ensure seamless operations and memorable experiences.
Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests, clients, and team members
* Knowledge and experience in managing golf-related operations and equipment
* Understanding of golf-specific irrigation systems and course maintenance processes
* Exceptional customer service skills to provide memorable guest experiences
* Relevant experience in event planning or hospitality management is a plus
* Proactive problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills
* Flexibility to work on-site and manage varying schedules, including weekends
* Interest and enthusiasm for the hospitality and golf industries
