GSL Education are looking for a creative Design and Technology Teacher to work with schools in Doncaster, delivering engaging lessons that encourage innovation and hands-on learning. As a Design and Technology (DT) Teacher, you will plan and deliver well-structured lessons that help students design, make, and evaluate products while developing technical knowledge and practical skills in a supportive classroom and workshop environment. Main Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality Design and Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum. Teach practical skills including designing, making, and evaluating products. Maintain a safe and well-managed workshop or classroom environment. Encourage creativity, innovation, and independent thinking. Assess student progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a Design and Technology Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Knowledge of workshop safety and practical teaching methods. A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
