We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender or Back of House to join our vibrant team. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our guests while crafting a variety of beverages. Duties
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders efficiently.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and manage the bar's inventory effectively.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
* Monitor guest behaviour and enforce responsible drinking policies when necessary.
* Assist in training new staff members on bartending techniques and customer service standards.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
* Strong knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and food safety practices.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
* A friendly demeanour with outstanding communication skills to interact positively with guests.
* Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* A valid personal licence for serving alcohol is preferred but not mandatory.
